Mac has a built-in feature called AirPrint which can print your documents wirelessly on a printer available and configured on the same network. However, if you are using a wired printer, then you must also install its compatible driver. Most common printers are compatible with macOS. Follow these steps to update a printer driver on macOS:
- Open the Apple Menu, click System and Preferences, and then click Software Update.
- Here, click on the connected printer from the list and then click Update.
The wizard should now automatically download and install a newer version of the printer driver on your macOS computer.
